Snapmaker Joins FitForLaunch Pre-Order Platform, Furthering Market Reach
Fulton, MD, December 01, 2017 --(PR.com)-- FitForLaunch, a new pre-order platform bringing security to Backers, recently evaluated and launched its latest product, Snapmaker, after a thorough look into the product, company and creators. Snapmaker makes a 3-in-1 unit that combines 3D printing, laser engraving and CNC carving. It launches at $549 USD for the complete unit, eventually reaching $799 USD by the end of the campaign.
Snapmaker’s high-quality 3-in1 3D printer is made to be modular and can print items up to 125 x 125 x 125 mm at a resolution of 50-300 microns. It provides free and intuitive software to generate G-code and control the printing process. Alternatively, users can start printing with the provided microSD card and operate the printer through the 3.5-inch color touch screen. With the laser engraving module, laser engraving is possible on wood, bamboo, leather, plastic, fabric, paper and more. The CNC carving module operates at speeds up to 19,000 RPM and can carve wood, carbon fiber sheet, PCB and more. Additional details can be found here: https://fitforlaunch.com/projects/snapmaker.
“Going with FitForLaunch as our company’s next step was an easy decision,” said Snapmaker CEO Daniel Chan. “We agree with their mission to provide a clearer, more accommodating environment to aspiring creators. Their goal to fight against fraud is reassuring and admirable. Backers can feel safe to choose products among elite projects, and honest creators can put their energy on the product itself while utilizing the platform to get support from customers. I believe that backers will have more faith in our product through our partnership with FitForLaunch.”
The Promega by M3D was the first 3D printer campaign on FitForLaunch and began in June, 2017. A large, industrial 3D printer, the Promega has so far raised over $2.3 million USD MSRP in pre-orders, making it the most money raised for a 3D printer over $1,000 since Formlabs in 2013. Backer comments on FitForLaunch suggest the guarantee offered by M3D through FitForLaunch made a big impact to pre-order the product on FitForLaunch.
Snapmaker becomes the platform’s second 3D printer company to take pre-orders on FitForLaunch. Coming off their initial campaign and having joined FitForLaunch and starting to collect additional orders as of this week, FitForLaunch now hosts the two of the top grossing 3D printer pre-order campaigns in 2017.
“3D printer crowdfunding really took a hit over the past year, when backers lost out after several failed projects,” said Michael Armani, FitForLaunch CEO. “We wanted to help out. As experts in the field, we could foresee troubled campaigns, and wanted to help the community by sharing our insights. The most appropriate way to do so was to highlight projects on FitForLaunch that we saw as likely to be successful and lacking the failure markers.”
Backers receive an extra layer of assurance when pre-ordering with FitForLaunch as all Creators must provide a personal guaranty when signing on to the platform, covering off on aspects such as conducting operations in good faith and taking maximum advantage of their personal resources to complete delivery. This provides extra assurance about the validity and viability of the product and the business.
Armani’s background is in engineering and has nearly a decade’s worth of experience creating and launching products, crowdfunding and running a 3D printer company as CEO. With that knowledge, he and his team personally vet potential FitForLaunch creators. “We have been in extensive talks with Daniel and the Snapmaker team, have personally seen and used the printer and can attest to both the product and the company being sound and worthy of backing,” said Armani. He speaks more about Snapmaker’s evaluation process on FitForLaunch: https://fitforlaunch.com/projects/snapmaker.
Other products available to order on FitForLaunch.com today include Modular Bluetooth headphones ($99), and the Knops volume button for your ears ($69 - $159). FitForLaunch is in talks with more 3D printer companies and other product Creators like Enomad who are planned to join by the end of the year.
