Skillspire Adds Business Development Manager to Facilitate Employment Opportunities
Bellevue, WA, November 30, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Skillspire, a technical academy offering the most in-demand skills training to underrepresented populations in the high-tech sector, announces the addition of Erika Price as its Business Development Manager. Recognizing the high demand for software developers and other technical workers in Seattle, Skillspire empowers its students through affordable and accessible courses that include web development, cyber security, and data science.
Erika Price comes to Skillspire with rich experience working in high tech, having spent over a decade working in Product and Program Management for Microsoft, Symantec and Intel. She has a Bachelor’s of Science from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Washington State University. More recently, she completed Reboot Seattle, the career accelerator focused on women returning from a career break. To complete this transition and further her technical skills, she studied Front End Web Development through an online coding academy.
Erika’s focus will be on pursuing corporate relationships to allow companies to take advantage of the diverse and talented pipeline of Skillspire students through apprenticeships and sponsorships. She will also work with local community organizations looking for effective and efficient training for their specific populations in need of better paying employment with opportunities for advancement.
