Thin-nology LLC Takes a Majority Position in Data Management Assistance Corporation (DMAC)
Thin-nology, uniquely a data center, IT company and business software specialist, has acquired a majority position in Data Management Assistance Corporation (DMAC). DMAC's very popular Unibase data capture and forms processing software is used by both small businesses and enterprise organizations worldwide.
Austin, TX, December 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Jon Bowling, President of Thin-nology LLC announced this morning that Thin-nology has acquired a majority position in DMAC. Fred Tarbox, President of DMAC, confirmed that DMAC had agreed to terms to be taken over by Thin-nology. Terms of the agreement were not made public.
DMAC owns the very popular Unibase Technology. Tarbox said that the agreement with Thin-nology allows for the technology to live for many years past the founding member’s retirement from DMAC and a clear path to the Cloud for its customer base.
Bowling said that the DMAC acquisition brings together two very mature companies that provide both companies with great synergies. The Unibase Technology needed a company that had the resources to put Unibase into the Cloud, Thin-nology needed additional technologies to diversify its Data Center and Cloud offerings. Together they provide each other with a bright future.
Bowling went on to say that DMAC will be maintained and run as a separate entity, “we are not going to change a winning venture,” although some things, such as support, will be managed though the Thin-nology NOC. Thin-nology runs a 24/7/365 operation so they will make that same service available to their DMAC customers.
DMAC is leading supplier of Data Management through document extraction. Thin-nology is a leading supplier of Data Center Services, Cloud, and Managed Services.
