Sac Gamers Expo is Back for Its Third Year
Sacramento, CA, December 04, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Sac Gamers Expo will host its 3rd show at the Scottish Rite Center on December 10. It’s not just a gathering of all things video game related, but a celebration of video game culture and its history.
This year’s gaming industry guests include James Riding III, the senior game designer on the soon to be released re-imagining of God of War on PlayStation 4; Eric Wile, one of the game designers of EverQuest and Star Wars Galaxies; Russell Barba, an early 90s SEGA of America game artist; Scott Zillner, a Professional Toy Prototype Artist who has done work for JAKKS Pacific, Disney and many other major companies; and G.S. Denning, an ex-localization editor for Nintendo of America and the author of the Warlock Holmes book series. Other guests include many well-known YouTubers such as Andre Meadows of Black Nerd Comedy; Austin Lockwood of Lockstin/Gnoggin; Arlo, the video game playing puppet; John Lester AKA Gamester81; Jason Damron AKA The Storyteller from Shoddycast’s Fallout Lore Series; Joseph Ferris of Commonwealth Realm; Natasha Vanessa Harried AKA Amy Yoshiko, an actress and cosplay model; and Cory Vincent, Aaron Carter, David Webb, and International Cosplayer Ivy Doomkitty, the hosts of Sacramento’s own video game podcast “Videogame BANG!” Most of our guests will be participating in panels and free autograph sessions.
Event highlights include an exhibitor room full of vendors and artists selling video games and game related merchandise, an independent game developers free-play room, video game tournaments with prizes, an interactive museum room with displays of rare gaming items and consoles with various games to play, a crayon coloring zone for kids, panels and workshops run by our special guests, a live DJ, and much more.
Sac Gamers Expo is on Sunday, December 10 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Scottish Rite Center. The show is open to the public and prides itself on being a family-friendly environment. Admission at the door is $10 each. Children 8 and under with paid adult are free.
