Toll Brothers Takes Stand Against Childhood Cancer by Raising Money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
Toll Brothers raised $67,000 company wide during the annual event.
Denver, CO, December 07, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Toll Brothers joined the battle against childhood cancer last summer when its employees, homeowners and friends hosted Alex's Lemonade Days events in its Colorado communities. People who visited Toll Brothers communities entered the raffle to win a professionally-built lemonade stand, enjoyed a cup of lemonade, and made donations to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
When the figures were tallied, Toll Brothers raised more than $67,000 for the Foundation with more than $6,000 raised through the efforts of the Colorado Division.
“This was a meaningful fundraiser that allowed people of all ages and all walks of life to make a difference in the battle against childhood cancer,” says Mark Bailey, Toll Brothers Colorado Division President. “We were pleased that we were able to raise the $67,000 company wide, which translates to more than 1,300 hours of treatment time for children battling cancer.
“This annual event raises over $1 million for childhood cancer research and the University of Colorado/Denver has been a recipient of a research grant,” Bailey continues.
