Tropical Smoothie Café Has Opened Its Newest Location at Bartram Park
First 50 people in line received one free smoothie a week for a year.
Jacksonville, FL, December 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Tropical Smoothie Café opened its doors on Friday, Dec. 1 at its newest location at Bartram Park. The first 50 people in line received a free 24 oz. smoothie every week for a year and the early Friday morning excitement stretched down the sidewalk. Jennifer Dover and her co-workers were the very first people in line. The group, who worked nearby, lined up at about 10 p.m. the night before to make sure they got their 52 free smoothies.
“We work just down the strip mall at Sport Clips and when we heard we could get free smoothies for a year, we just had to line up,” said Dover. “We spent the night playing Cards Against Humanity and Catch Phrase, a few of our clients stopped by and we just had a little party here outside Tropical Smoothie Café.”
Dover was joined by Catherine Sosinsky, Carissa Romero and Jessica Ibanez. Just before two in the morning, the women were joined by other smoothie lovers and the line just kept growing from there.
“I just love these grand openings and the enthusiasm of our customers,” said Nick Crouch, president of QSR Management Group and franchise owner of the new Tropical Smoothie Café location. “It is just so great to see the lines and get the crowd and staff pumped up as we open our doors to guests for the very first time.”
Crouch said he is looking forward to being part of the neighborhood and introducing some new people to the tastes of Tropical Smoothie Café. Crouch is now an owner of 14 Tropical Smoothie Cafes in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Orange Park, Middleburg, Yulee, Palm Coast and Valdosta. He has plans to open six more cafés in 2018.
