Codeasy Releases Online Course to Learn Programming for Beginners

Codeasy, announces the launch of the new interactive online tutorial for beginners to learn programming while reading an adventure story.

San Francisco, CA, December 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Codeasy (codeasy.net) is an online educational course, with the main aim to make it easier for the complete beginners to learn programming from scratch. At the same time, Codeasy wants to make the learning process fun and involved – that’s where story-based learning takes its place.

Remaining a user-oriented resource, Codeasy tutorial is focused on helping people to write their first, second and third program in C# without even realizing it. Codeasy is not about immediately getting a job, it is not about going into complex details of every subject, it is all about helping people to get into coding in the easiest possible way.

60 percent of the course consists of practice. In every lesson, the user meets several tasks which are based on the topic of this lesson. Codeasy has a mechanism to check whether the task was solved correctly which indicates users on their progress. If the user gets stuck somewhere in his/her way, Codeasy has a slack support group that is created to help users successfully finish the course.

“At Codeasy we made an emphasis on simplicity. I feel very bad when programming course starts with OOP (object-oriented programming) or other highly abstract topics. Instead, we added an adventure story about fighting machines in the future to our course. While reading, our users meet challenges that require real coding to solve. The journey starts with console output and creating the first variables. The final goal is to save the world and become a developer. At the moment we have C# course and we plan to add Python course in the future. We think it is an ideal solution for the beginner programmers, and our users think the same!” says Dmytro Shervarly the co-founder of the course.

Codeasy was first launched in December 2016 by a group of developers from Stockholm (Sweden) and Kyiv (Ukraine) as interactive C# learning course. Now it accounts for more than 1K total subscribers and about 100 active learners from all over the world.
