Alphalogix Set to Display Tasica Workflow and Portal Solutions in IBM Lotusphere Comes to You in San Francisco, California.
Huntington Beach, CA, February 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Alphalogix™, an IBM® Business Partner and Independent Software Vendor today announced that they are participating in IBM’s Lotusphere Comes to You in San Francisco, California March 6th, 2008. IBM’s series of Lotusphere® roadshows display the latest in IBM Lotus® software solutions that was presented at Lotusphere in January of 2008 in Orlando, Florida. Alphalogix will be on site at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco to present their 2008 Lotus Award winning Best Portal solution and enterprise portal hosting capabilities along with several products from the Tasica™ brand of workflow tools including, Tasica Forms Director and the newly released Tasica Dynamic Reports.
The goal of this years’ IBM event series is to demonstrate the power of the Lotus software collaboration portfolio including IBM Lotus Notes® and Domino®, IBM Lotus Connections®, IBM Lotus Quickr®, IBM Lotus Sametime®, and WebSphere® Portal. Additionally, IBM is focusing on small to medium size business with the announcement of its Lotus Foundations line of servers and a web-delivered service codenamed Bluehouse that is targeted at customers with 500 employees or less. The IBM Business Partner solutions showcase area will also offer a valuable opportunity for IBM Business Partners to showcase their own innovation around Lotus Software.
Alphalogix will be participating along with many other leading IBM Business Partners. Recently, Alphalogix has combined its powers with many of IBM’s top resellers including Ascendant Technologies, Alacrinet and Perficient, creating their own channels program to extend the sales of IBM and Tasica workflow product integrated solutions.
At the event Alphalogix will be demonstrating Tasica Forms Director 3.1, the enterprise class workflow system that when combined with IBM Lotus Forms creates a powerful and scalable business process automated suite. The solution provides the ability to create dynamic electronic forms and perform electronic workflow processes while integrating with legacy backend data sources, improving overall productivity and efficiency while saving operational costs.
In addition to working in Eclipse, the same open standard development platform as Lotus Forms, the Tasica Forms Director offers JSR 168 compliant portlets to integrate business process automation solutions into WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Portal Express. This allows organizations to create role-based business processes that fit perfectly within departmental or individual needs.
Tasica Forms Director 3.1 from Alphalogix continues to expand the functionality, ease of use and integration with IBM content management tools. The latest feature upgrades include:
-Workflow Monitoring: ability to recreate and view data from any electronic form without the overhead of storing the actual form
-Single Sign On: within clustered portal environments
-Dynamic Portlet Interface: workflow portlets that can dynamically change to reflect custom portal themes
