Spanish Start-Up Sherpa Named Amongst 100 Most Innovative Companies in Artificial Intelligence

Bilbao, Spain, December 17, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Sherpa, the predictive Artificial Intelligence platform, has been named to the prestigious AI 100 in San Francisco. The award, which is granted by consultancy firm CB Insights recognizes Sherpa as one of the top 100 most innovative companies using Artificial intelligence in the world. This is how the CEO and Founder of CB Insights Anand Sanwal put it during the A-Ha! Conference which took place in San Francisco and which was also attended by Sherpa CEO and Founder Xabi Uribe-Etxebarria.

The CB Insights research team made their decision after evaluating over 1000 companies using Artificial Intelligence in areas as diverse as cyber security, robotics and medicine.

Earlier this year Sherpa was a finalist at CognitionX, an awards ceremony in London which recognises excellence in Artificial Intelligence, where it was surpassed only by Deep Mind (acquired by Google for $500 million). Sherpa has also been honoured with the following awards this year: Red Herring Global Winner, Red Herring 100 Winner Europe 2017, White Bull Award and Best Mobile App Award. Finally, Sherpa has also been featured by the technology consultancy Gartner as one of the top three intelligent apps of the moment.
