Grace Care Announces Health Check-Up Camp Held at Brati Sangha, in Association with Indian Association of Retired Person to Healthy Living in Elderly People

Kolkata, India, December 21, 2017 --(PR.com)-- This health camp is organized to spread awareness about these illnesses at the old age and for senior citizens and about the ways of preventing these illnesses which people generally neglects. This is the first time that a high-end free Health Camp was organized in Kolkata focusing on the various fatal illness like Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart diseases and Thyroid disorders and including Hearing & Speech disorder.
During the camp, Dr. Kaustabh Sil, MBBS, FCCM , CTCCM, Specialist in critical care medicine and Trained in critical care patient transfer and Mr.Supriyo Ghosh, Business Development Director along with the team were present and addressed the members of IARP.
The visitors underwent various tests free of cost such as free advise by the cardiologist, blood pressure, Hemoglobin – TC, DB, HB and Random Blood Sugar (RBS) test, Diabetic Assessment, Echo- ECG, HBA1C , Lipid profile, Liver Function Assessment and Hearing and speech disorder assessment. Experienced Cardiologists and team were at the camp to diagnose and prescribe medical treatments for the patients. General Physicians and other specialty doctors were also available at the camp.
Around 50 people attended the camp from across the Kolkata. Out of which 95% of people had cardiac ailment, 70% of people has Diabetes, Hypertension, 5% of them had family history of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).
