DMarket Completes Token Sale and Smart Contract Audits
DMarket raises over $19 million in ICO and its smart contract is found to be adequately protected against all known cyber threats.
Santa Monica, CA, December 21, 2017 --(PR.com)-- DMarket, the world’s first cross-game blockchain-based marketplace for trading in-game items and turning them into real assets, announced today that its token sale and smart contract audits have been successfully completed.
DMarket’s ICO was comprised of two phases, one being completed in August and the other one - in December 2017. After the token crowdsale was over, DMarket performed its financial audit.
As per the audit, the following results were obtained:
Total tokens contributed (including Phase #1 bonus tokens): 49 497 194
Total tokens to be issued: 56 921 773
Tokens reserved for DMarket Core Activities: 4 949 719
Tokens reserved for Advisory Board and Partners: 2 474 859
Number of transactions: 10 674
Funds raised (excluding bonuses): $19 069 984
Funds rejected due to token sale policy: 4.07583865 BTC, 55.9983 ETH, 3.0112 ETC, 6.6172 LTC
All funds raised will be used in accordance with the Use of Funds policy outlined in DMarket White paper.
In addition to the financial audit, DMarket hired Coinfabrik, a leading apps security expert, to audit its smart contract. Coinfabrik was chosen due to a number of reasons including unrivaled technical expertise in cryptocurrencies, blockchain development and IT security. Having reviewed DMarket smart contract, Coinfabrik concluded it overwhelmingly passed the audit.
As the audit report concludes, “We [Coinfabrik] found the contract well written and easy to follow. We checked it against the latest known vulnerabilities and found the contract to be adequately protected and secure.”
As a reminder, DMarket launched Alpha/DEMO version of the marketplace and blockchain testnet in October 2017 and plans to roll out MVP with connected real games and blockchain in Q1 2018.
