Chicago, IL, December 21, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Campus Consortium, the largest global education association of schools, colleges and universities, awards Oregon State University a $252,465 Grant to implement a mobile app for students and faculty. Located in Corvallis, Oregon, Oregon State University, with 11 colleges, 15 Agricultural Experiment Stations, 35 county Extension offices, the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport and OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon State has a presence in every one of Oregon’s 36 counties.

Delighted to receive the Grant, Director of Public Safety, Suzanne Tannenbaum at the Oregon State University spoke about the support they received and stated, "Campus Consortium has announced great news to us this week. This Grant is exclusively for us to enhance our facilities through providing students with a mobile app that is bound to simplify several things students often face difficulty with. A well thought out and executed mobile app goes a long way for attracting and retaining students and employees, which indeed will help us in a big way.”

The Campus Consortium Grant will enable Oregon State University to build their official mobile app through the technology provider Unifyed. The mobile app will consist of 14 basic applets like Campus News, Emergency Numbers, Campus Events, Social Media, Parking, Dinning etc. In addition, it will also feature Unifyed Applets for LMS, Academic, Financial Aid and Unifyed Campus Bulletin Board, What’s Up, etc.

“This mobile app solution provides out of the box integration and increases engagement, in addition to the beauty of adding new features on the go. We believe this will be a great opportunity for Oregon State University to grow and we wish them all the luck,” states Anjli Jain, Chairman of the Campus Consortium. "We congratulate them on receiving the Campus Consortium Grant.”
