European CxO Dialog Information Risk Management on May 6th and 7th: CIOs and CISOs from All Over Europe Are Invited
CIOs and CISOs of major European companies as well as key representatives of the IT security sector will constitute the Pan-European Managers' Network for IT Security on May 6th and 7th in Prague. The European CxO Dialog 'Information Risk Management' of econique, the elite network, is extending its invitation to top IT executives of major user companies (sales volume 500 Million Euro and over) throughout Europe. For users, the participation is free of charge.
Berlin, Germany, February 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Within the scope of the dialogue, econique will set up one-on-one meetings corresponding to the individual interests and competencies. An exclusive dinner will offer the opportunity to enhance new contacts and brush-up on existing ones. The Berlin-based company has been hosting closed networks for top executives since 2003. The fact that threats and defence strategies have become global concerns has triggered the decision to offer an international decision-makers' network for IT security issues.
“What's so unique about our events is the method of personal interchange between decision-makers invited by us,” says Sven Hardt, econique's CEO, ”We manage this type of communication among peers within the setting of one-on-one talks and small round-table discussions by querying competencies, planning, and project know-how in advance and by systematically matching this information. On this basis, we are able to establish valuable contacts.” Each participant is provided with an individual process plan that shows the one-to-one sessions, which have been individually planned according to participant's needs. Each meeting contains a small agenda, previously approved by the dialogue partners. Within an econique professional summit including 100 participants, roughly 400 one-to-one talks take place, each one of them having been arranged in accordance with selected issues. “We do spend a lot of effort matching the interests of discussion,” says Hardt, “that's the core of our services.“ If interested, attendees have the option to keep in touch after the summit via the new econique Internet community. Just as the conference, the community is exclusively available to top executives of major enterprises.
A top class presentation programme provides the platform for the one-on-one talks and small confidential roundtable discussions. Under the chairmanship of IT security wizard, Professor Klaus Brunnstein—the President of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP)—managers from the world of finance, the manufacturing industry as well as from other sectors—from Allianz, Nokia, Novartis, Saxo Bank or EADS, for instance—will present best practices of Information Risk Management within three parallel streams.
