Clearwater, FL, December 23, 2017 --(PR.com)-- On December 16th, The Way to Happiness (TWTH) Association of Tampa Bay held their 2nd Annual Love and Help Children Awards Banquet in the historic Fort Harrison, the international religious retreat for the Church of Scientology. Twenty-two youths were acknowledged for their community service in front of an audience of 320 guests, including educators, community advocates and religious leaders.
“I’m honored to be joined by so many who are responsible for educating youth, seeing that they make correct choices and assisting them to live happy and healthy lives,” said Ms. Tanja Cranton, the Executive Director for TWTH Association Tampa Bay, “especially during this Holiday season.”
Guests enjoyed a complimentary buffet dinner, prepared by the award-winning Fort Harrison chefs.
Following dinner, Ms. Kelly Yaegermann, President of TWTH Association Tampa Bay, spoke about The Way to Happiness, “The Way to Happiness is a book written by L. Ron Hubbard and is a simple, straightforward and direct guide that helps individuals make positive decisions.”
Ms. Yaegermann also introduced the guest speakers: Dr. Regina Young, United Congregations for Communities and Youth; Mr. Edward Herman Jr. from AMI Kids Orlando; and Ms. Susan Liverpool, community activist – all advocates for The Way to Happiness program.
The event ended with a concert performance by the Flag Band with Michele Henderson, bringing the whole audience to the dance floor.
