Reelhouse Productions' "Rich Boy, Rich Girl" Movie Premiering This Winter
Writer/Producers and co director Judy San Roman (Fair Market Value, In Sickness) and Director Andrew Damon Henriques (Power of Prayer) are proud to announce their romantic comedy, "Rich Boy, Rich Girl" is ready for release. San Roman and Henriques can't wait for audiences to fall in love with this hilarious film about two souls reading a book on the wrong things in life.
New York, NY, December 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- "Rich Boy, Rich Girl" tells the story of Andy and Haley, two Y-generation dreamers that meet and begin dating through false pretenses. When their lies catch up with them they are forced to take a good look at their choices and become the people they dreamed of. The film stars C. Thomas Howell (LBJ, Animal Kingdom, Netflix's The Punisher) and Elaine Hendrix (Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll), Abigail Hawk (Almost Paris, Blue Bloods), Sasha Jackson (Fuller House) and Cody Longo (Nashville).
San Roman and Henriques are passionate about filmmaking and delivering heartfelt stories that audiences can connect to, but understand the inherent challenges and risks that can form part of the experience. "Whenever you start a project, you can't imagine the journey that awaits you. That was especially true of Rich Boy Rich Girl. It proved to be a difficult shoot with a 24-day filming schedule, 19 locations and up to 4 setups per spot," shares San Roman.
This is the third film that San Roman helms through her production company, Reelhouse Productions, and her first collaboration with Henriques. Her co-director reveals that the story was what really sold him on joining San Roman. On his style as a director Henriques reveals, "Each project I make is different and I've tried to avoid the trap of making the same film twice. Each new story should have a different look and feel. It should always be motivated by the story, I don't try and squeeze a unique story into a film style because it looks cool or it's popularity. If it doesn't mesh with the narrative, then it's not a part of my vision."
Andrew Koss, who plays "Tom" reveals "I enjoyed every moment on the set. Working with Cody Longo was a blast. The directing team of Judy San Roman and Andrew Henriques were completely on board with my impulse to play my character at a heightened level. Their subtle, light handed directing style complimented each other wonderfully and allowed the scene to go where it needed."
San Roman shares, "It's story, story, story. Laugh out loud moments, sentimental parts and a whole lot of fun. So rent or buy our film now streaming on Amazon, iTunes, Fandango, Vudu and Google Play."
