Nashville Recording Artist Scores Big with Trop-Rock Fans in 2017
Nashville, TN, January 05, 2018 --(PR.com)-- There is an old saying that tells us, “lightning never strikes twice in the same place.” Highway 59 Records Recording Artist, Randy Moore, is finding that hard to believe these days, for the second consecutive time in a row Moore is honored again as Radio A1A’s 2017 Trop 40 Song of the Year with his hit single “Refuge.” Last year, he was granted that honor with his 2016 trop-rocking original record, “Sunshine State of Mind” and this year he has once again, “struck lighting” with “Refuge.”
Radio A1A Trop Jock and CEO for the Trop Rock Music Association's Radio Station Of The Year, Harry Teaford gave Randy the honor live on air on New Year’s Eve. Teaford, alongside Honorary Mayor Gonzo Mays of Key West Florida broadcast, “It is with great pleasure that we announce that ‘Refuge’ has been selected by the Trop Rock Fans as the Number One song of 2017." According to A1A’s top radio personality, Randy Moore's "Refuge" has captured the hearts of "Trop Rock Music" fans everywhere and has been chosen by them as the Number One song in the Radio A1A "Weekly Trop 40" Poll. Harry also went on to explain how the song’s message of “hope and comfort thru the storm” brought it to the forefront of thousands of Floridians to offer strength in a year that has been filled with unbearable disaster. Henceforth, naming “Refuge” The Florida Keys "Official Hurricane Irma Evacuation Song."
(For those who may be less than familiar with the term "Trop Rock" music, Harry offers his insight, "Trop Rock Music is a positive, fun and uncomplicated style of music that celebrates the relaxing Island lifestyle of tropical weather and comfortable surroundings where the beach, sun and water create a stress-free paradise on earth.")
Randy Moore's Trop Rocking tunes are alongside his latest collection of musical offerings on the album "HWY 59." Randy's album to date is a featured spin of over 350 radio stations world-wide. He was also PHlockers Magazaine Trop Rock Artist of the Month for March 2017. You can find more info about Randy Moore and this song on the world wide web at www.highway59records.com.
