Lightning Surge Systems from 3ctest Will Fill Void from Thermo Keytek Closure
Roseville, CA, January 09, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The EMC Shop, North American distributor for 3ctest will be providing their lightning induced transient test systems for aerospace and military compliance. Manufacturers of equipment installed on metallic and composite aircraft are required to test to standards RTCA/DO-160 Section 22 as well as the new MIL-STD-461G CS 117 to ensure confidence their products are immune from lightning strikes. The 3ctest turnkey solutions simulate lightning transients that the equipment would be exposed to assuming a lightning strike to the chassis of the aircraft.
The 3ctest LSS-160 systems are available as the most cost-efficient solution on the market and fills the void left with the recent closure of Thermo Keyteks EMC division, rendering the ECAT lightning test system (LTS) obsolete. A multitude of configurations allow customers to build a system ideal for their testing needs, combining any or all Waveforms 1 through 6 and Test Levels 1 through 5.
The EMC Shop will be delivering the first LSS system into North America early 2018, with onsite installation and training personnel. Current lead time runs approximately 5-6 months and starts at $190K for a single stroke system. Multiple Stroke and Multiple Burst configurations can be delivered in a single system or added in the future.
