Association's National Directory of Medicare Supplement Insurance Agents Aiding Consumers
A report from the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance reported increased consumer usage of the organization's new local agent directory.
Los Angeles, CA, January 06, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Find A Medicare Supplement Agent online directory hosted by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance continues to receive excellent feedback according to a new report.
"We are so pleased to see that hundreds of consumers used the free online directory to connect with local Medicare Supplement professionals during the recent Medicare Open Enrollment period," explained Jesse Slome, director of the Medigap trade group.
The Association unveiled a new and improved Zip Code directory earlier in 2017 based on consumer feedback. "The new directory allows a consumer to see the agent's information without having to input any of their own personal information," Slome explained.
The number one complaint from consumers surveyed by the organization was receiving non-stop calls from agents after entering ionformation on various websites. "The Association's website lets the consumer see the agent and their information," Slome noted. The information includes the ability to phone the agent directly or send them an email requesting information.
"We are pleased to provide this free public service for consumers and plan to make continual improvements and expansions of the system," Slome shared with a group of Medicare insurance agencies.
