Delaware Pioneers the Way for Official Land Records with Landmark from Pioneer Technology Group
Sussex County, DE partners with Pioneer Technology Group to rejuvenate its antiquated land records management system.
Sussex, DE, January 06, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Sussex County, one of only three counties in the great state of Delaware, will be the first to partner with Pioneer Technology Group (Pioneer) and usher in a more efficient, environmentally responsible land records management system. The Sussex County Recorder of Deeds plans to implement Landmark, replacing their current aging system, in the coming year. Landmark’s capability to process multiple documents simultaneously, streamline custom workflows, run internal reports, search official records, and even supply web based services to its residents in real-time will bestow Sussex County with the ultimate benefit of valued productivity gains and enhanced customer service for their citizens.
Sussex County’s choice to go with Landmark came from extensive research on Pioneer, a company that holds decades of experience in the records management industry and heavily emphasizes paperless solutions with customizable software in all facets of County and local government. With Sussex County’s current system, paper documents are indexed, cashiered and manually stamped; then scanned in at a later time. With Landmark, Sussex County will now have the ability to scan official papers first, index off the image, and automatically apply an electronic stamp at the time of cashiering. Documents can then be handed directly back to customers at the counter, skipping the step of mailing back those documents and eliminating stacks of paper in the office.
“Pioneer Technology Group is pleased to be a part of Sussex County’s decision to adopt an intuitive, automated paperless recording system in an effort to improve customer service for their citizens,” said Ryan Crowley, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Pioneer. “They are raising the bar for office productivity in the state of Delaware and we are happy to help.”
The transition to a more dynamic system like Landmark has Sussex County’s recording division looking forward to work after the install. Landmark’s online interface offers multiple search options and filters as well as the ability to queue up multiple documents to view at once, making it easier for recorders and citizens to access what they need, when they need it. Online video tutorials are also provided for the public, allowing users to quickly learn how to search with their new state of the art land records site.
The acquisition of Landmark is a huge win for Sussex County, DE and the aim is for this partnership with Pioneer Technology Group to continue providing efficiency gains across the County and even State, in time. The installation of Landmark is scheduled to begin in early 2018.
