Campus Consortium Awards Davis College $252,465 Grant to Implement a Mobile App for Their Campus

Chicago, IL, January 07, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Campus Consortium, the largest global education association of schools, colleges and universities proudly announces the Mobile App Grant of $252,465 awarded to Davis College, located in Johnson City, New York. A Bible-centered higher education institution, Davis College is committed to making an impact upon the world for Jesus Christ by the fostering of Christian character and the equipping of students with the knowledge, competencies, and skills needed in an ever-changing world for service and leadership within the church, Christian organizations and society.

"We are glad we were chosen over hundreds of applications for the Mobile Campus Grant. We all know setting up technology platforms can be a massive push-back in terms of finances. This grant promises better student engagement and definitely through a very cost-effective means since it will cover mobile app licensing and the development costs for us,” said Donnette Russell, Director of Development at Davis College.

The grant covers 100% of the mobile app software licensing costs associated with implementing a mobile app over five years and will enable Davis College to build their official mobile app through the technology provider Unifyed. The mobile app will consist of 14 basic applets like Campus News, Emergency Numbers, Campus Events, Social Media, Parking, Dinning etc. In addition, it will also feature Unifyed Applets for LMS, Academic and Unifyed Campus Bulletin Board, What’s Up.
