Burbank, CA, January 11, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Editors’ Lounge returns on Friday, January 19th with an evening dedicated to solutions for editing plugins, storage and media management. Boris FX|Sapphire, Glookast and G-Technology will be giving hands-on demonstrations of all the latest tools for post-production professionals. The event will be held at AlphaDogs Post Production 1612 W. Olive Ave., Ste 200, Burbank, CA 91506 beginning at 6:30 pm. RSVP is required to attend.
Jesse Adams, Solution Architect and Chris Bradley, Account Manager for G-Technology, a leader in the direct attached and network attached storage solutions for content creators, will be presenting the G-Rack 12 NAS based solution and the DAS based G-SPEED Shuttle XL appliance. G-Speed Shuttle XL offers a transportable 8bay hardware RAID solution with Thunderbolt™ 3 technology for colossal capacity and high definition performance supporting 4K workflows and multiple RAID configurations. An easy to use, high speed file-based ingesting platform that takes raw file-based media and ingests directly into the post-production environment. From i-Phones to GoPro cameras or high-end content, Media Producer solves the problem of getting all file-based content into broadcast and production workflows. Also showcased will be the Gloobox Capturer, a baseband capture solution and Glooport a family of cluster based load balanced services that offer seamless integration into existing workflows by automating and managing remote ingesting, parking, retrieving, transforming and outgest of media and metadata across all platforms.
Boris FX Product Specialist, Mary Poplin, will be showing the latest Boris Continuum and Sapphire tools for Avid, and Premiere Pro editors, including the new Continuum Primatte chroma-keyer and Mocha integration inside popular Sapphire tools. Attendees will learn how to automatically key green/blue screens and adjust lighting to correct unevenly lit screens delivering a perfect key with a single color sample. Demonstrations will be given on how Sapphire Builder and Lens Flare Designer can allow for more control over creative storytelling with just a few clicks of the mouse. Creating complex shapes in Avid Media Composer, rotoscoping in half the time and creating automated garbage masks for witness protection are now all available in Mocha inside the Continuum and Sapphire suites.
