Adam Wynn Announces Candidacy for U.S. House of Representatives
Adam Wynn, a Waleska resident and member of the Democratic Party, has announced he is running for U.S. House of Representatives for Georgia’s 11th Congressional district, challenging long-time incumbent Barry Loudermilk.
Waleska, GA, January 18, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Adam Wynn, a Waleska resident and member of the Democratic Party, has announced he is running for U.S. House of Representatives for Georgia’s 11th Congressional district.
“I am running for Congress to bring real representation to GA11. I’m tired of politicians who say they’ll represent us in Washington, only to have them rubber stamp the agendas of big corporations and lobbyists while ignoring the needs of those who sent them there. It is time we have a representative who is in touch with people all across our district, and understand the struggles we face every day. I intend to win this election and be a leader in Washington, DC, not a follower. My friends and neighbors across this district deserve nothing less.”
Adam’s message is simple, “Let’s bring real representation to Georgia’s 11th district by doing the following:
Provide everyone world-class health care by enacting a Medicare for All program.
Protect our local environment by strengthening the EPA and investing in renewable sources of energy.
Protect consumers from financial crime and harm by strengthening the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and holding companies like Equifax accountable for their actions.
Increase access to resources and programs to help those with disabilities.
Restore Net Neutrality and guarantee free and open access to the internet for consumers and businesses.
Raise the minimum wage and index it to inflation so hard-working Americans get the wage increases they deserve.
Fight for LGBTQ+ protections by passing the Equality Act.
Fight for equal pay and a woman’s right to choose.”
This is the first time that Adam has run for political office.
“I want people of my district to know I have the energy, stamina, and the team to go the distance against the Republican incumbent. I’m an internet software professional, a former small business owner, and I’m the son of working-class Americans.”
The official campaign website is www.wynnforcongress.com. “I encourage people to visit my website and see what I’m about. I’m not another outdated politician who is seeking to retire in the U.S. House of Representatives. I am someone with the capability and stamina to stand up and fight for our rights and our future.”
