Empire Cleaning Supply Expands Training Facilities
Empire Cleaning Supply has expanded its training facilities at its headquarters in Montebello, CA and they want to make this known, along with the types of services they deliver.
Los Angeles, CA, January 19, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Empire Cleaning Supply, based in Montebello, CA, has recently completed construction on their new training facility, housing not only a theory and lecturing course room, but a practical workshop area featuring 6 different floors, stone walls and glass panels for window washing.
According to Robert Cronyn, President of Empire Cleaning Supply, “Building the skill level knowledge base of our customers has been a bedrock purpose of our company since its inception in 1936. We have the hard won knowledge that comes with over 80 years of cleaning experience and we want to share this with the cleaning industry.”
The Empire Cleaning Academy provides an array of training programs to fulfill these needs. It starts with their once a month no-charge workshops where Empire brings in top professionals to teach classes that range from Pro Stone Care to the latest technologies for upholstery and carpet cleaning and maintenance.
From there, Empire sends consultants out to advise on various cleaning strategies designed to fit the individual needs of a business, company or organization. “We have 10 consultants with over 25 years of experience each and we want to give this knowledge back to the trade,” says Cronyn.
These courses are open to the public but are primarily geared to cleaning contractors who are striving to learn new skills in order to expand their business.
The Academy also offers tailor-made classes on specific subjects, such as Cleaning Basics, Window Washing or Control of Blood Borne Pathogens for the healthcare environment. While the monthly workshops are free of charge these specialty courses include training fees and are available individually or in a package to train a cleaning contractor on the skills needed for rapid success.
Attendance at these monthly workshops vary anywhere from 35-100 people and while there are now regulars who attend each one, the majority of new people come by word of mouth. “We primarily get companies who are interested in expanding their service base and staying in tune with an ever-changing marketplace – green solutions, disinfecting technologies, air quality control – the list goes on and on. Empire has a responsibility to its customers to help them stay current and that is what the Empire Cleaning Academy is all about.”
