Rebuilding Together Atlanta Appoints New Chair, Members to 2018 Board of Directors

Atlanta, GA, January 21, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Rebuilding Together Atlanta (RTA), a non-profit organization striving to preserve and revitalize low-income homes in metro Atlanta, today announces the appointment of Jason Fernandez to Chair of the Board and the addition of six new board members. RTA, organized locally in 1992, is part of the national Rebuilding Together network, a leading non-profit in safe and healthy housing that provides low-income homeowners with critical home repairs. Jason Fernandez has served on RTA’s board for six years and is co-owner and partner of Restore All, Inc. and Tuckercraft, Inc., two successful disaster restoration and multifamily construction businesses in metro Atlanta. Fernandez succeeds board chair Louis Barbieri III, who served in this capacity since 2015.

Camille Kesler, executive director of RTA, says, “On behalf of RTA’s Board of Directors, I would like to welcome Jason Fernandez as our new Chair. Jason is a long-time board member, joining us in 2012 to assist in the growth and development of RTA. Jason brings a demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in the general contracting and housing industries. Coupled with his existing tenure at RTA, he is the perfect person to lead our organization’s next chapter.”

As Board Chair, Fernandez will engage in the development of a new strategic plan to further define RTA’s mission and goals. He will focus on ensuring that RTA’s clients are well-served, grow corporate sponsorships and help board members achieve their goals within the organization. Fernandez earned a bachelor of science in landscape architecture from The Ohio State University.

I look forward to serving as Chair and driving continued growth and development within the organization,” says Fernandez.

RTA strives toward one day ending substandard housing in Atlanta. Since its inception, RTA has worked on more than 900 home projects, with a market value totaling more than $3 million.
