1631 Digital, The Patriot Mission and Remember My Service Team Up to Honor Vietnam Veterans

Book commemorating 50 years to be distributed to each of the 7.1 million servicemen and women who served in Vietnam.

Washington, DC, January 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- 1631 Digital, The Patriot Mission and Remember My Service Productions have teamed up to honor veterans with the Vietnam War 50th Commemorative Gift distribution program. The book, intended for each of the 7.1 million servicemen and women, honors the service, duty, and sacrifice of Vietnam Veterans through their personal stories with minimal attention to the divisive historical and political policies of war. The book will be produced in cooperation with the Naval Historical Foundation, the Library of Congress Veterans History Project, and the Vietnam Veterans of America. This gift is customized by state to include the governor’s message of gratitude, state-specific narrative, and sponsor-specific messages in the Foreword section of the book.

The managing editor is Colonel (ret) Ray Bluhm with the Army Historical Foundation (AHF), and previous author of the history of the Vietnam War (which was published through the AHF). Dr. Ed Marolda, Chief Historian of the U.S. Navy for 37 years, also provided oversight for the accuracy and credibility of all stories. The Patriot Mission has been tasked to create sponsorships and sales, 1631 Digital will also help in sales support, creating digital strategy and will add an online component to the sponsorship programs. Remember My Service Productions (RMS) is the project coordinator for the nationwide Vietnam War 50th Commemorative gift.
