Texas Trust’s Alex Godina Named to Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Arlington, TX, January 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Alex Godina, Senior Business and Community Engagement Partner of Texas Trust Credit Union, has been named Chair-Elect for the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. In this role Godina will work closely with the board to assure continuity in the succeeding year when he will become Chair.

Godina has served on various committees since becoming active in the Grand Prairie Chamber six years ago. In addition to being Chair-Elect, he also spearheads the diversity and engagement committee. Godina will become Chairman of the Board in 2019.

Besides the Chamber, Godina is also an active member of the Grand Prairie ISD Career Technical and Education Advisory Board, a member of the Grand Prairie YMCA Board, and serves as the community representative for the Fannin Middle School improvement committee.

Texas Trust has been an active part of the Grand Prairie community since 1948. Originally part of Chance Vought Aircraft, the credit union is intrinsically linked to Vought’s heritage and Grand Prairie’s rich aviation history. Texas Trust has two branches in Grand Prairie and a school branch at Dubiski Career High School.
