Walter has received this prestigious award for his forward thinking at his Austin Texas based operation by implementing the first ZenRobotics (Helsinki, Finland) C&D Processing System, in the Western Hemisphere. Walter was introduced to the ZenRobotics System by the North American Distributor, Plexus Recycling Technologies. Walter and Will Hancock of Plexus worked together for months before the final decision was made. Walter traveled to 8 countries in Europe, visiting dozens of processing sites and gaining a worldly perspective on waste management, and deciding to bring this advanced technology to the North American market.

Implementing the ZenRobotics into the C&D Recycling line as of March 2017, has increased Recon’s recyclable recovery rate by 20%. With the help of Plexus Recycling Technologies, Recon Services Inc is taking an additional step towards the future growth of their business by introducing the Plexus AIR MAGNET, a Komptech Terminator Shredder and the Komptech Ballistic Separator. These new additions will increase the efficiency of the waste system by allowing 20+ hours of daily operation and increasing annual throughput, while also allowing Recon Services to open their doors to a select few third-party waste haulers increasing annual throughput.
