Kempinski Hotel Bahía Reopens in February, Showcasing Its New Look and Dining Venues
Kempinski Hotel Bahía Estepona – Marbella will be reopening on 16 February, after an extensive redesign of the lobby, restaurants and bars with the inception of a bold new approach to drinking and dining at the hotel, bringing all the venues under the cluster name of “El Paseo del Mar.”
Estepona - Marbella, Spain, February 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Upon this development, General Manager Ms. Carla Lopes states, “I’m extremely proud to lead this project, where we will bring our next vision and bold new approach to such a sought-after and vibrant destination as the Costa del Sol.”
For this ambitious project, the hotel is teaming up with Architects Akos Bara, worldwide experts in hotel and restaurant redesign, and local construction company B. Solis Construction. The project will enhance the hotel’s quintessentially elegant status with modern and opulent characteristics, embracing the very essence of Kempinski Hotels, Europe’s oldest luxury Hotel Collection, synonymous with luxury travel worldwide.
For El Paseo del Mar, Kempinski Hotel Bahía is cooperating with the celebrated Zsidai Gastronomy Group, whose current official partners include brands such as the Jamie Oliver Group and Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest.
New concepts will include Baltazar Steak House, a funky and lively all-year-round grill-restaurant, and Spiler Beach Club, a chill-out lounge, bar and restaurant that overlooks the Mediterranean, combining entertainment, dining and music. The stunning new lobby will be home to the Black Rose Bar, the perfect place to taste a cocktail and socialise with friends or hold a business meeting.
“El Paseo del Mar will be fully operational by May, thus ‘positioning the hotel’ as a culinary destination where international guests and locals are at the centre of the action. This redesign forms part of the company’s long-term vision for the resort,” states General Manager Ms Carla Lopes.
Kempinski Hotel Bahía opened in 1999, and the award-winning hotel was designed by one of Andalucia’s most renowned architects, Melvin Villarroel. It is surrounded by a footprint of 40,000 sq m of indigenous and subtropical gardens. The hotel has 128 spacious rooms and 17 luxury suites, a spa offering a soothing luxury experience, and several spacious conference rooms. The frontline beach location is a calming oasis, located between Marbella and Gibraltar, and on the doorstep of the authentic, unspoilt town of Estepona, making it a popular choice for tourists from all over the world.
