Sitemorse: Extending Digital Governance to Social Media
London, United Kingdom, February 09, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Sitemorse has recently made a number of changes to the way that social alerts are managed and delivered for users monitoring Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.
The new reports begin with results for Spelling, Function and Brand – custom checks against brand or style guidelines to ensure that social media posts meet organisation standards. The most important priority issues are shown with darker red bars. For more details, simply hover over and click.
Sitemorse also provides a word cloud for posts over the last week, month or year (also available as a table), which indicates the frequency with which brand names and campaigns are mentioned. Finally, there is a bar chart that shows the number of posts that have been sent per day.
Social accounts can be found in Sitemorse on the user dashboard alongside web properties. Users can then access social reports from this page.
Other functionality of Sitemorse’s social monitoring includes:
- Mapping of users’ full digital network and points of connection within it
- Alerts identifying broken links
- Identification of the use of banned terms
- Pages linked to are scanned for malware and viruses
Lawrence Shaw, CEO of Sitemorse, said, “It’s easy to forget that your digital footprint extends beyond your web properties. However, it really is essential to monitor what is happening on social media. Fortunately, Sitemorse’s functionality can help web managers to ensure consistency across all digital touch points. What’s more, with an increasing regulatory focus on commercial use of social media, we anticipate that social monitoring will only become more important in the future.”
About Sitemorse
Sitemorse first introduced Digital Governance automation in 2001. Still privately owned, the company pioneered the field and continues to provide clients with new tools and capabilities every year. Our new Digital Experience Manager brings data science to governance analytics, advancing capabilities for the full content management cycle; simplifying the monitoring of quality, content consistency and compliance from within Content Management Systems; and providing continual monitoring thereafter.
Sitemorse helps digital managers to build strong processes and accountability, to minimise risks and to achieve the highest standards of content quality, with hierarchical reporting keeping an eye on corporate responsibility. With Sitemorse, there is no need for the substantial infrastructure, support and accordant costs that are required for manual quality and compliance checks. Ultimately, Sitemorse delivers confidence and drives efficiency to optimise branding online.
