Full Contact Karate Comes to Raleigh
Bushiken Karate is holding their first open tournament in the Raleigh area. the tournament will consist of three divisions, forms, weapons and full contact sparring.
raleigh, NC, February 11, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Bushiken Karate, Saint-Cyr Dojo is hosting their first annual Full Contact Karate Tournament in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Carolina Open Championships will be held on March 3, 2018 at Garner Road Community Center. It will be an open tournament, open to all karate/ striking forms and will follow the Bushiken Karate tournament rules (tournament rules and forms can be found on their website Bushiken.com in the tournament section).
There will be three divisions; Kata (forms), Weapons and Kumite (Semi-Knockdown/ Full- Contact fighting). Participants are expected from multiple areas including Virginia, Charlotte, Wilmington and even New York City to compete. Early entry fee is $50 prior to 2/17/18 and includes all 3 divisions. Registration is $60 afterwards.
