Beechwoods Software Expands Leadership in IoT

In January of this year, Beechwoods added Mike Daulerio to its executive team as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Mike is a 20-year technology professional with expertise in business development, strategic partnerships, program management and product marketing. Prior to joining Beechwoods, Mike has held senior level management positions for leading semiconductor and independent software companies such as Tseng Labs, Ravisent Technologies, STMicroelectronics, Digital 5, Videon Central, and Solekai Systems.

The company is an active contributor and technical lead for IoT consortia, like the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) and EdgeX Foundry (a Linux Foundation project). Drawing on its deep domain knowledge in embedded software, Beechwoods has been taking a leadership role in the development of IoT. Herve Jourdain, Beechwood’s Vice President of Architecture, is the chair of the OCF Healthcare Project, helping to define the specifications for Healthcare IoT solutions. Additionally, Herve is also the chair for the Audio Video Task Group, in charge of defining the specifications for Audio Video IoT solutions like TV/ STB and video/ surveillance camera technology.
In 2016, Beechwoods opened a development office in Taipei, Taiwan to increase collaboration with key customers and technology partners in Asia. Besides Beechwoods commitment to expanding its technical presence in Asia, it is expanding its engineering organization in the US with active hiring in Southern California and its headquarters in Boston.
