He serves as a U.S. Customs Broker and Freight Forwarder and is responsible for reviewing documents and confirming government specifications for vessels entering the country. His firm serves clients in Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco in California, New York and the East Coast, Hawaii, and International Clients since 1972.
Born on July 24, 1941 in Chesapeake, Virginia, Victor Stringer obtained a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a M.S. in Public Administration from California State University Long Beach. He attended the University of Southern California Delinquency Control Institute. He has been a lifetime charter member of the Alumni Association and a lifetime chapter member since 1984. Victor then studied Political Philosophy at the Claremont Graduate School, in their Ph.D. program. It was then he decided to study law and obtained a J.D. from Western State College of Law in 1981. He taught Criminal Law at Long Beach City College for a year and holds two Lifetime Teaching Authorizes, one in Political Science, and another in Police Services and Administration. He holds an Instructor’s Credential to teach Law.
Victor served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1959 to 1965. He has been a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Inc. and served as a Peace Officer in Los Angeles County until he was injured while on duty in 1981. He is a former member of the Associations of the Trial Lawyers of America and also served as a Director with the International Non-Lethal Weapons Association Academy. He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security International, is a licensed Private Investigator and holds a Private Patrol Operator’s License in California. Mr. Stringer was a founding Laureate Member of the International Society of Poets and has received several awards for his published works.
Mr. Stringer is a Certified Yoga Instructor and wrote an international best-selling book titled “Yogi on the Green.” He wrote it to help golfers of all abilities to hopefully improve on their physical and mental game. Mr. Stringer states, “As noted in many Medical Journals, when one improves on their physical being, they also improve on their mental awareness.” It is available in a Kindle edition on Amazon.com. In his spare time, Victor enjoys golf and yoga and is working on a book of poetry to be published sometime in 2018.
