IoTize™ Joins STMicroelectronics Partner Program to Boost Plug'n Play Solution That Slashes Time-to-Market of IoT Enable
Brings TapNLink solution with ST25DV Dynamic NFC Tag ICs for plug'n play IoT connectivity to the STM32 Community.
Montbonnot, France, February 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- IoTize SAS, a supplier of connectivity solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) in microcontroller-based systems, has joined the STMicroelectronics Partner Program to improve accessibility to its innovative plug'n play wireless/contactless modules for the STM32 community.
IoTize TapNLink wireless/contactless modules allow system designers to integrate IoT connectivity in their existing designs without modifying their original firmware. TapNLink uses patented technologies to connect directly to an STM32 MCU via available General-Purpose IO pins (GPIOs) and is implemented by configuration only. This unique approach to connectivity integration enables IoT proofs-of-concept in minutes, slashes time-to-market for fully qualified IoT-enabled products, and facilitates their future maintenance and evolution.
IoTize is introducing the solution in its first low-cost, turn-key IoT demonstrator module – the TapNLink Primer. This Primer will feature NFC connectivity based-on the ST25DV Dynamic Tag IC with 13.56 MHz long-range interface and a Bluetooth Low Energy interface. The Primer will enable IoT proof-of-concept demonstrations in minutes by connecting any STM32-based system to a dedicated, provisioned, Cloud environment using a smartphone as a network gateway.
"IoTize connectivity solutions benefit the STM32 community by combining wireless and contactless technologies in fully-qualified modules that take no expertise and little effort to implement in STM32-based systems," stated Francis Lamotte, President of IoTize SAS. "The ST25DV Fast Transfer mode and long range brings undisputed added value to the overall solution by enabling quick firmware upgrades of the ‘iotized’ system though an NFC contactless interface."
STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications created the ST Partner Program to speed customer development efforts by identifying and highlighting to them companies with complementary products and services. Moreover, the program’s certification process assures that all partners are periodically vetted for quality and competence. For more information, please visit www.st.com/partners
