Dr Jack Hunter Celebrates Recent Academic Success

Oswestry, United Kingdom, February 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- North Shropshire College (NSC) is celebrating the academic success of Lecturer Dr Jack Hunter, who teaches Access to Higher Education Sociology and Psychology at NSC and has recently gained his Doctorate in Social Anthropology. To achieve the academic title, Jack undertook seven years of intense Ethnographic research on spirit mediums at the University of Bristol, studying anomalous experiences and influence on models of consciousness and self-concepts; which is an idea of ones-self based on personal beliefs and the reactions of others.

In addition to his recent achievements, Jack has also authored his own book titled “Why People Believe in Spirits, Gods and Magic” and has edited several other works, alongside working as a reviewer for the Journal of Exceptional Experiences and Psychology.

Jack comments, “I am very pleased to finally have received my Doctorate, and I enjoyed the research that I have carried out at the University of Bristol. I am looking forward to continuing my lecturing career at NSC, and furthering my academic achievements in the years to come.”
