Thorwaldson Whole House Fan Company Offers Highest Performance Rooftop Whole House Fan
Homeowners with no attics can now get a powerful 8000 CFM (cubic feet per minute) rooftop mounted whole house fan. The new Tornado ER-8000 will move all the air in a 2000 square foot home with 8 foot high ceilings in just 2 minutes.
Temecula, CA, February 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Thorwaldson Whole House Fan Company is now taking orders for their high performance ER-8000 Tornado Rooftop Whole House Fan for shipment this spring.
This record breaking air flow is made possible by a high air flow rain deflector that is a turbine with a rainproof top and vertical blades angled to deflect rain and accelerate air flow. Added to this is the excellent 19.5 inch diameter fan blades from Multi-Wing in Ohio and a powerful EC (Electronically Commutated brushless DC) motor from US Motors. The ECM offers infinitely variable speeds and takes just 505 watts at 120 VAC at top speed. The input power is nearly perfectly linear related to speed so if the speed is at 10% the input power is about 50 watts. The fan body is a 20 inch diameter tube mounted in a slightly larger hole in the roof.
The fan comes with a wireless AC power control and a speed dial like a light dimmer that is wired with low power wiring. Also included are decorative surrounds for both the rooftop rain deflector and the fan body under the ceiling. The rooftop surrounds are designed to look like standard chimneys with looks including brick, stucco and wood. The interior surrounds are 24 inch square cabinets and can be supplied to match the cabinets in your home. To see the surrounds visit ThorwaldsonWholeHouseFans dot com.
The price for this performance is just 28 cents per CFM - the lowest cost per CFM of any source in the industry. As an example, QuietCool's highest performance fan is their ES-6400 and it pulls 6005 CFM for $1,848.00 or 31 cents per CFM. The Thorwaldson ES-6400 pulls 6,320 CFM for $1795 or 28 cents per CFM. Please note that the Thorwaldson ES-6400 rafter mounted whole house fan is also the highest performance rafter mount in the industry.
As of this writing, any homeowner with no attic can reserve their own ER-8000 at a price that is $1000 off list, or $1224.00 by going to EBay and searching for "Thorwaldson ER-8000 winter special." That special is likely to end at the first of spring.
Also note, that the company is looking for one homeowner in each mid-century modern community to be a model home. That homeowner will get a demo fan for just $1000 and will receive $100 for each order in the community. Write Kurtatghi at gmail dot com for more information.
