Since earning her real estate license in 1991, Catherine’s scope of practice includes the buying and selling of various properties such as, residential, farms, ranches, and land. As a seasoned realtor, her expertise in real estate transactions, public speaking, management and marketing has led to recognition as 1997 and 2005 Realtor of The Year by the South-Central Board of Realtors. To further her professional development, Catherine earned her Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, the Accredited Home-Staging Specialist, The Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), Realtors Land Institute Accredited Land Consultant designation, ALC- Advanced, an e-Pro designation, and is a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager.
Prior to her role as a realtor, Catherine lived in England, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and London before settling in Brenham, Texas. She credits her success as an agent to living in multiple countries and working with many diverse people. After marrying her late husband Mike, a Brenham native in 1978, Catherine became interested in country living.
Currently, Catherine is the President of the REALTORS® Land Institute of Texas, Founding Member of the Texas Land Brokers Network, Tourism Chair of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, and sits on NAR's Realtors Land Institute Government Affairs Committee. She has served as the Publicity and Marketing Director for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for eight years and a Board Member for the Volunteer Services Council for Brenham State School since 1989.
Catherine maintains affiliation with the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, Houston Association of Realtors, and South Central Board of Realtors. She has previously served on the Professional Standards, Grievance and Arbitration Committees, Political Involvement Committee and Land Use Committee with the Texas Association of Realtors.
