Emilie Meddah is Named Professional of the Year by the International Assoc. of Who’s Who
Emilie Meddah, of Charlotte, North Carolina, is recognized by the International Assoc. of Who’s Who for exemplary achievements in the field of Chemistry.
Charlotte, NC, February 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Emilie Meddah is Technical Marketing Manager at Clariant Plastics & Coatings Inc. and has almost a decade of experience working for the organization, covering a variety of roles and achievements.
Emilie’s academic career was a diverse and cosmopolitan affair, starting at École nationale supérieure de chimie de Mulhouse in France, where she studied general chemistry and engineering chemistry from 1999 to 2003. During this spell, she spent half a year at the Technical University of Denmark, where she studied Organic Chemistry, Drug Design, Formulation and Ethics. In 2003, she spent a further year at Université Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar, where she studied organic chemistry and macromolecular chemistry, before rounding out her academia with several years of research in organic chemistry the Universitat de Barcelona. Emilie’s ability to absorb and learn multiple languages gave her the opportunity to study in such diverse environments.
She began her professional career with specialty chemicals organization Clariant as a lab colorist based in Barcelona. Since concluding her studies, Emilie has played extensive roles in the Clariant organization, which have spanned multiple duties and countries. Emilie became Global Procurement Strategy Assistant in 2008 and was situated in Münchenstein, before moving on to a position in the Parisian office in Marketing Support. By 2011, she was relocated to Muttenz, Switzerland to take on a role in Global Technical Assistance in the Business Line Polymer Additives. After two years, she was appointed Technical Marketing Manager in Basel, whom she has represented since. In addition to this position, she was relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina to represent Clariant as Technical Marketing Manager, where she has been since 2015.
Having achieved so much in her profession to date, Emilie furthered her vocational status by becoming a member of the National Association of Professional Women, by whom she was appointed as a member of the VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is also a representative of the Society of Plastic Engineers.
Emilie’s many travels for work have seen her become a proficient linguist, fluent in French, Spanish and English as well as being a fair German-speaker. In addition to travelling, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, working out, and watching movies and plays.
