Join DHS, US Customs and Border Protection, and the DEA at the 6th Annual Border Security and Intelligence Summit

The 2018 Border Security & Intelligence Summit will allow members of DHS and accompanying critical organizations the opportunity to discuss current initiatives to enhance border protection and advance intelligence capabilities.

Hoboken, NJ, February 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Defense Strategies Institute is pleased to announce their 6th Annual Border Security & intelligence Summit, occurring on April 18-19, 2018. This summit will bring together senior leaders stemming from DHS, military commands, Industry, and academia for two days of off-the-record briefings and open forum discussions in Alexandria, VA. The Summit focuses on current technology required to enhance border protection and advance intelligence and surveillance capabilities. Each session will aim to explore the tools needed to help our nation prevent transnational crime organizations as well as the data analytics resources required to investigate and detect commercial fraud and illegal trade across borders. The dialogue will focus on this year’s theme of “Enhancing Security through All-Source Intelligence Integration.”

This agenda is designed for ample networking opportunities and will highlight the existing gaps in effectively protecting our homeland and the technological and intelligence capabilities required in order to succeed in keeping our nation safe. To this end, the summit will offer over 16 diverse senior leader speakers including:

*Supporting senior policymakers with IC-coordinated assessments on critical issues affecting the nation
*Strategy and issues to ensure information sharing is successful in preventing transnational crime and terrorism activities
*Effectively partnering with industry to enhance resource including surveillance, electronic sensor alarms, and aircraft sightings
*Protecting the homeland by way of informing operators and decision-makers on effective means to counter violent extremism
*Ensuring technology can adequately meet mission needs and be solutions to closing existing gaps
*Capabilities needed to effectively detect and prevent transnational crime, terrorists and illegal trafficking-Integrating Commercial SATCOM Solutions to Supplement DoD Communication Capabilities
