World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation Elects New Board Member
Los Angeles, CA, February 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Sheldon has joined its board of directors. As a veteran film industry executive who specializes in domestic and international markets, she will be providing a wide variety of ancillary sales knowledge and expertise to company management.
For the past six years, Sheldon has worked with World Wide as a non-theatrical sales specialist and has been responsible for the release of many of the distribution company’s films to the educational market, DVD/VOD, and across such digital platforms as Netflix, Amazon, and iTunes.
“As the corporation continues to grow and evolve, we’re very happy to welcome Ms. Sheldon to the company’s board of directors,” states World Wide CEO/president Paul Hancock. “We look forward to her guidance and counsel with respect to non-theatrical sales and digital strategy, and hope to work together for many years to come.”
Sheldon is the founding partner and chief executive officer of Juno Films, an all-rights distribution company that has historically strong expertise in the non-theatrical and educational markets. Prior to launching Juno Films, she was the chief operating officer of BOND/360 where she oversaw acquisitions and distribution. Previously, she served as senior vice president at Kino Lorber, where she founded the educational division, Kino Lorber Edu. Her expertise in digital distribution has allowed her to become one of the industry’s foremost liaisons between filmmakers and digital exhibition outlets.

Sheldon graduated from Princeton University with a master’s degree in German studies, and received her Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Mills College. She has been recognized as one of the “50 Most Influential People” in the documentary world by Point of Vue magazine and has served as a jurist for a variety of film festivals.
