Academy for Notaries by Jennie Stormes Will be Presenting a Notary Education Seminar at Passaic County Community College, Patterson Campus on April 5, 2008 from 10am-2pm

There is a growing need for Notaries Public in many professions, including, financial, real estate, business and legal professions. The Notary Public is an essential component to our everyday business industry and to national security. This notary public one-day seminar will educate anyone to become a valuable employee and how to better protect the employer's business assets within New Jersey.

All students will be given detailed instructions on how to obtain the New Jersey notary commission for the State of New Jersey. Additionally, all attendees will acquire skills and tools to complete state assigned job duties as described by the New Jersey Department of Revenue. Completion of this course will give any notary (new or renewing) the ability to perform all notary duties with less liability and more confidence.

What is a New Jersey Notary allowed or prohibited from doing?
What should a New Jersey Notary do when presented with certain situations?
What is my liability as a New Jersey Notary?
What is the employer’s liability with a New Jersey Notary?

Completion of the full course will conclude with a certificate of completion from the instructor if allowed by the college. Cost is $55 made payable to Passaic County College.
