SUP-X: The StartUp Expo and South Florida Technology Alliance Announce Partnership
Fort Lauderdale, FL, March 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- SUP-X: The StartUp Expo, Florida's largest startup and early stage entrepreneurship conference, announced today that it had formed a partnership with the South Florida Technology Alliance to jointly produce the event.
SUP-X is held annually at the Broward Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale and this year will be on July 26th. The event attracts over 1,000 people from two-dozen states and half-dozen countries each year.
"We're really excited to partner with the SFTA. They have an outstanding reputation and membership and their mission of promoting the growth, success and awareness of the regional technology community aligns well with our mission of connecting early stage investors, entrepreneurs and service providers from throughout the state and beyond," said Bob Fitts, Founder and Producer of SUP-X.
The day long event will begin with a forum called #women4women, which is intended to be the largest gathering of angel groups, seed series funds and VC funds in the US in 2018. Angel Capital Association Board Member, Marcia Dawood, is chairing the forum.
"We're very excited to add SUP-X to our roster of programming that helps the South Florida technology community learn, connect and grow," said Tammy Kennedy, SFTA President. "SUP-X will become another flagship SFTA event along with IT Palooza, which is held each December," said Kennedy. As a result of the new partnership, the event will now be known as SUP-X: The StartUp Expo presented by The South Florida Technology Alliance.
