KOSBE Hosts Seminar on Doing Business with the Veterans Administration

Kingsport, TN, March 04, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Small Business Development Center ETSU – Kingsport Affiliate Office will host Doing Business with the Veterans Administration on March 20, 2018 from 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM at The Kingsport Center for Higher Ed. The training is co-sponsored by the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE), Tennessee Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Southwest Virginia Community College PTAC, Kingsport Chamber, Tri-Cities Military Affairs Council and the Veterans Administration.

Doing Business with Veterans Affairs (VA) is a regional procurement readiness seminar designed to help small and veteran business owners become procurement-ready and prepared to do business with VA. VA is one of the largest procurement and supply agencies of the federal government. You will:

- Hear about upcoming bids and available opportunities
- Meet one-on-one with procurement officers & project managers
- Network with other veteran, small, minority, & women-owned firms

Who should attend: Current and prospective suppliers, including but not limited to Logistics, IT, Prosthetics, Engineering, HR, Healthcare, Medical Supply, and Construction Companies. Small businesses, woman-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned businesses (and those that want to become certified) and prospective contractors and subcontractors. Review of open opportunities for small businesses.
