Funny man Willie Macc from BET College Hill Virgin Islands joins his fellow cast mates and those from College Hill Virginia State University and College Hill Interns in the first ever BET College Hill: Class Reunion.
Los Angeles, CA, March 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- While he currently can be seen on the big screen in "Meet the Spartans", actor / comedian Willie Macc will join his former cast members from College Hill Virgin Islands (Season 4), and the cast of College Hill Virginia State University (Season 3) and College Hill Interns on Tuesday, March 4th for the first ever BET College Hill: Class Reunion.
Best known as the funny man on College Hill Virgin Islands, Willie Macc has had a busy year since his "graduation" from College Hill. In addition to his cameo appearance in the comedy spoof "Meet the Spartans" where he plays a "Yo Mama" joke cracking opponent of the Spartan army, Willie Macc co-stars in the April 2008 release of "House Arrest". In this direct to video movie, Willie Macc takes on the Chris Tucker side-kick roll in the Friday-like comedy. He has also appeared on the small screen in multiple episodes of "CSI", and on 'Journeyman" and "Take the Cake". In between, he has been sharing his stand-up comedy routine with teens and adults around Los Angeles.
Hosted by Big Tigger, College Hill: Class Reunion will air on BET in three different episodes. In episode 1, the casts of the Virginia State University (Season 3) and the University of the Virgin Islands (Season 4) will each take the stage for the first time to relive those moments that made their season unique from the others. From hookups to blow ups, the cast will finally get their chance to set the record straight.
In episode 2 of College Hill: Class Reunion, the conversation continues with the University of the Virgin Islands as they continue their quest for dominance as "the" most watched season of College Hill. Also in this episode, the cast of the spin-off series "Interns" get the chance to weigh in on their season and show who's the boss.
The final episode of the three part series includes all of the cast members of the past three seasons of College Hill when they take the stage together to discuss the moments that every season seems to share, no matter the school or the city. From embarrassing moments to culture clashes, the casts will compare notes to prove which class reigns supreme in the halls of College Hill.
BET has designated Willie Macc to handle all local Los Angeles press ops in advance of the Tuesday, March 4th, 11pm airing of episode 1 of College Hill: Class Reunion. Local and national print, radio and tv media should contact Zabrina Horton at BET Communications (zabrina.horton@bet.net, 310.481.3737) to schedule an in-studio or phone interviews with Willie Macc. Internet media (on-line magazines, blogs and email newletters) should contact Margaret Merriweather at Charles Belk Management (mmerriweather@charlesbelk.com) to schedule a phone interview or to submit questions to be answered by email by Willie Macc.
Willie Macc returns to the big screen when he begins shooting the action / adventure feature "The Scorpion" later this month. He is also slated to travel to London to help with the April 2008 airing of College Hill Virgin Islands on the newly launched BET UK network.
