Miami Heat Takes Over Miami Roller Derby's Season Opener in Wynwood
Miami’s Vice City Rollers are being taken over by the Miami Heat. Miami Heat’s dancers, Xtreme Team, Burnie and special guest announcer, Dale, will be at the season opener this Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 7 p.m. at the Wynwood Marketplace, making it an event you don’t want to miss.
Miami, FL, March 10, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Miami’s Vice City Rollers are being taken over by the Miami Heat. Miami Heat’s dancers, Xtreme Team, Burnie and special guest announcer, Dale, will be at the season opener this March, making it an event you don’t want to miss.
Come feel the excitement as Miami’s Vice City Rollers take the track against Key West Derby Dames on Saturday, March 24th, 2018, at the Wynwood Marketplace. This is a new venue for the team provided with the generous help of SWARM and Maná Wynwood.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and game starts at 8:00 p.m. after the National Anthem.
Fans will enjoy live, hard-hitting action, craft beer courtesy of sponsor Sixpoint Brewing, local food trucks and vendors, raffles, and a full Miami Heat production crew including a halftime show by the Heat dancers.

Spectators are encouraged to bring folding chairs or other seating, especially if they plan on braving the trackside seating area. Trackside Seats offer the very best views of the bout. However, due to increased risk of contact with players being knocked out of bounds and into audience members, trackside seat holders must be 18 or older. No chairs allowed in trackside seating – foam pads are okay.
Tickets are available online in advance for $10 or at the door for $12. Trackside seating is $15 (18+ only). Kids 10 and under are welcome and free. Tickets available online at http://vicecityvskeywest.bpt.me.

Women’s roller derby is a full-contact, competitive sport played on traditional quad skates. There are vpicp nearly 1,400 leagues around the world and the sport is being considered for the 2020 Olympics.
