Blake's Sublime Designs Holds Contest for Youth Art Month

Carrollton, GA, March 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- March is National Youth Art Month. And to celebrate, Blake's Sublime Designs is giving away two t-shirts featuring the winning entries for the winners of the "under 8 years old" age group and the "over 8 years old" age group. Children can simply scan or mail their artwork.

Any artwork submitted must be something two-dimensional. Entrants may draw, color, or paint, but no craft projects.
The maximum age for this contest is 12.
Entries must be received by March 31.
Blake's Sublime Designs is asking entrants to include their shirt sizes when submitting entries so that they can receive the custom t-shirt if their art is selected.

The winner will be announced in the company newsletter on April 1. Blake's Sublime Designs is asking that the entrants' parents be subscribed to the company newsletter so that they can receive the announcement of the winners. If they would like their picture and a short biography in the newsletter, they can include their photo in the submission as well.

Blake's Sublime Designs believes that Youth Art Month is a great opportunity and is very important for our children. President Blake Raab states, "Creating artwork is just as important for children as eating healthy and excercising. It teaches them to think creatively, and it allows them to express themselves and improve dexterity. The creative muscle also needs its exercise."
