ID5 Raises 1M€ Seed Investment Round to Improve Cookie Synchronisation for Premium Publishers & Ad Tech
ID5, the first centralised cookie synchronisation platform for the digital advertising industry, announced today the successful closing of a 1M€ seed funding round. Venture capital firm 360 Capital Partners led the operation, with participation from other private investors.
London, United Kingdom, March 16, 2018 --(PR.com)-- This investment will allow the company to expand its team in the company’s London and Paris offices. ID5 also plans to invest in its proprietary ID matching infrastructure to support its commercial development across Europe. Finally, ID5 will use the funding to accelerate its go-to-market efforts and add new clients to the 15 existing publishers and ad tech platforms already leveraging its services.
Programmatic has taken the European digital advertising market by storm, growing 42% in 2016 according to research published by IAB Europe in September 2017. Programmatic advertising is fuelled by user-level data and makes user identification a key challenge for the industry. Because they don’t have a direct access to consumer data like Google, Facebook or Amazon, premium publishers and independent ad tech vendors have been challenged to get their fair share of digital advertising growth. ID5 provides them with a way to improve their user identification capabilities in an efficient, scalable and privacy-compliant way.
