Luau to Life Breast Cancer Support Fundraiser
On March 26th, 2018 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm Savage Support will be holding a Luau To Life Tiki Party at Wauwatiki (6502 W. North Ave) in Wauwatosa. Join the group to directly support local persons during the difficult process of breast cancer in a practical and daily way. All proceeds to benefit Savage Support’s non-profit aimed at providing services to those in need during their time struggling with breast cancer.
Milwaukee, WI, March 17, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Admission is $35 in advance, $50 at the door, including a delicious buffet with gluten free options, featured Savage Support drinks, live music from Honolulu Millionaires, along with a smorgasbord of raffle, silent auction, wine pull treasures and donations from the community. Mark Browning, Treasurer says, “It will be a ton of fun for a very good cause!”
Savage Support strives to provide a wide variety of services focused on aid to individuals fighting breast cancer in southeastern Wisconsin. They endeavor to provide an elevated quality of life for breast cancer patients in tangible and practical ways, beyond their medical care.
Founded in 2015 as a small, grass roots organization in Milwaukee, WI, the non-profit’s dream is to make the lives of women and men going through breast cancer treatment across our state easier. The services offered through the beneficiaries focus on decreasing stress and anxiety associated with chemotherapy and other breast cancer treatments. Many of these side effects, including memory loss, nausea, vomiting and fatigue cause patients to struggle with basic day-to-day tasks like cleaning their home, driving to the grocery store or other activities that require physical exertion. By assisting with these daily tasks, the hope is that beneficiaries can focus on their healing and improving self-esteem while connecting with supportive networks.
