Easter Bunny Visits Senior Living Communities in Austin
Austin, TX, March 19, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Easter Bunny and his helpers visited Austin-area Senior Living communities just before the Easter holidays, and took complimentary photos for everyone that participated.
The seniors that were photographed were anxious to have a printed photo to share with their loved ones over the Easter holidays. Some seniors even included their beloved pets and families in their photos. Many mentioned they would frame those photos to enjoy for the years to come.
The traveling Easter Bunny was the brain child of Heavenly Care Moving's Scott Kandel. Heavenly Care Moving specializes in residential moves, seniors moves, storage, and cross country moves. Scott knew that seniors would love a visit from the Easter Bunny, and he wanted to visit as many seniors as possible. Having the Bunny travel from community to community made sense...The idea was hatched! Heavenly Care Moving is part of the Austin Senior Resource Alliance, which supported the four-day adventure.
Cyndi Cummings, founder of Austin Senior Resource Alliance as well as a broker associate with Keller Williams, is a Certified Senior Housing Professional. She has made it her mission to educate and answer questions of older adults regarding post-retirement living and helps to sponsor many events throughout the year. Cyndi was happy to assist along with the other alliance members and states, “It looks like we will celebrate many holidays with our seniors in the future, as we started this tradition with Santa over the Christmas holiday.”
The Easter Bunny (Scott Kandel) traveled to 16 communities this year including: Austin, Lakeway, Georgetown, Dripping Springs, Onion Creek and Round Rock. And, he hopes to continue to increase the number of communities he visits each holiday.
