Ms. Braiker began her career as a Social Worker for Aid to Families with Dependent Children, carrying a case load of 70 families, and as a Public Relations Specialist for Regional Medical Programs at the University of California in San Francisco. After returning to Los Angeles, she began her career in real estate, serving as a Broker with Rodeo Realty in Beverly Hills, and several other international realtors. She was awarded “Woman of Achievement” by the Century City Chamber of Commerce and nominated for “Women Making A Difference” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. She attended the centennial year celebrations for the Rotary Club at an international meeting in Tokyo and was honored at a special dinner hosted by the Mayor of Osaka.
Marcy has 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. She is always willing to get involved and help people in need, recently saving a child from drowning in a pool. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, travel, Tango dancing and cardio-dancing.
