Swag Soft Introduces an Educational VR World for Students Wandering Amongst Career Paths
Singaporean-based technology development company, Swag Soft, aims to facilitate the process of career selection in an engaging and comprehensive Virtual Reality world.
Singapore, Singapore, March 24, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Swag Soft, along with the NCS, MoE (Ministry of Education) and SSG (SkillsFuture Singapore Agency), was entrusted to shape how young students can better prepare themselves for their future careers by letting them learn about the different occupations in a fun and interactive manner.
Students get to explore the world of Career Quest with their customized digital avatars. Through interacting with more than a hundred in-game characters across 27 different industries, students will learn about various aspects of each occupation - such as the work environment, required dress code, job specifications and key responsibilities.
Career Quest is peppered with story-driven quests, fun mini games and entertaining animations to make it interesting for the kids. Students can also unlock different costumes, badges and occupation write ups as they explore more of the world.
Previous generations of students learnt about careers through traditional means such as talks and TV programs. Through Career Quest however, students not only get exposed to a much wider spectrum of occupations, but even get involved in digital simulations of the jobs.
When Career Quest was unveiled, it immediately became a hit with the students. Swag Soft was able to transform a mundane topic into an enjoyable experience through clever gamification and game design.
The project involved not just a team of dedicated programmers and artists, but also a visionary team that was able to breakdown a situation’s pain points, seek its potential and create solutions from there.
